What you'll be doing in this position: Roles & Responsibilities: As a Software Architect, you will take full ownership of the research, design, and definition of the foundational architecture for our Embedded Linux software stack. Your responsibilities will include
* Leading the analysis of existing infrastructure, applications, and features to identify architectural gaps and propose robust, scalable solutions.
* Designing and defining core components and interfaces across the Embedded, ensuring alignment with product and system requirements.
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (SW, Cloud, system, Product) to define APIs and integration procedures between complex software systems.
* Mentoring and guiding engineers through design reviews, code quality practices, and architectural decisions.
* Contributing hands-on to development efforts (up to 40%) to validate architectural choices and accelerate delivery.

Vice President, Software Engineering
on the lookout for an experienced VP R&D to lead our global R&D Department.

As our VP R&D, youll help drive the organization to success through its growth into the next stage and help define the policies and direction we are taking as an Organization. You will also help integrate the company into and align plans and goals. The company runs a SaaS service that is based on AWS and is running at large scale with an emphasis on big data and AI/ML technologies providing a significant technical challenge.
You'll lead an international development team spread across 2 locations with a great latitude of freedom to shape the organization to deliver the requirements needed for the business to succeed. You will need to balance the business and technical needs of the organization and services to deliver quickly but with great quality. You will also need to adapt the organization to its new scale and continue scaling it up.

We are seeking a highly skilled HO Software Architect to own regulatory compliance aspects within our software development lifecycle, along with the detection, evaluation, and management of open-source initiatives across the organization. This role sits within the CTO office and reports directly to the Director of Architecture.
What am I going to do?:
Regulatory Compliance Technical supervision:
* Work closely with development and product teams to ensure software development processes and execution meet regulatory standards.
* Participate in Design Review and Product Review processes to validate adherence to compliance and regulatory policies.
* Proactively identify compliance risks and recommend solutions in software and product landscape.
* Perform architecture and code review to validate adherence to compliance policies.
* Own and oversee technical compliance with key regulatory frameworks including GDPR, SOC2, and privacy/user safety regulations.
* Facilitate audits and assessments by providing detailed documentation and evidence.
* Build up Open Source program from ground up including defining and owning the process, identifying opportunities, and managing execution. Technical Leadership:
* Serve as a hands-on technical expert, reviewing, validating, and participating in code contribution across multiple projects.
