Jerusalem based company is seeking a Linux Kernel Engineer to join its team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Linux Kernel drivers and components.
Bring up new hardware and configure bootloaders.
Debug Kernel, bootloader, and hardware issues.
Work closely with hardware and software teams.
Contribute code and documentation internally and upstream.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet one or more of the following qualifications:
Familiarity with at least one ARM 32 or 64 bit application processor such as STM32MPU1, i.MX6/8, TI 32 bit SOC or similar
Familiarity with any RISC-V application processor
Familiarity at the source code level with any of U-Boot, MCUboot or EDK2 bootloaders on some SOC
Familiarity with the Linux Kernel device driver model
Linux board bring-up experience
Preferred qualifications:
A degree in software engineering
Contributions accepted into a major open-source infrastructure project
Willingness to undergo a background check
