Design new medical products as part of R D department.
Define devices' requirements and specifications based on multiple stakeholders' inputs - technical specifications, usability specifications, regulatory specifications.
Prototype, build and improve designs utilizing clinical personnel feedback throughout design process.
Work with wide variety of technologies - wide variety of machining options (5-axis CNC to Swiss-type lathing), 3D Printing, PIM/MIM, and many more technologies available in-house during products' early stages.
Lead R D projects from kickoff to mass production:
Plan and perform design validation activities.
Support regulatory activities - Validations,
Requirements: Mechanical engineering degree - B.Sc. / M.Sc.
At least 4 years of proven experience in R D positions.
Experience in manufacturing technologies and processes.
Experience in medical devices industry - an advantage.
Experience in formulating, planning, ing, and conducting tests.
Strong written and verbal communication skills - Hebrew and English.
Hands-on approach.
