research, design, develop, and implement lidar based algorithms in both Python and C ++ for solving complex problems
evaluate existing models and techniques, and propose innovative approaches to improve algorithm performance and accuracy

collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions

The AI team is building deep neural networks and computer vision algorithms for our smart-cart solution. Including identification of which product was inserted into the cart from a set of up to hundreds of thousands of different products in stores around the world.
The team includes Algorithm researchers and Data operations who together build a scalable training-pipeline, capable of training on millions of images for multiple tasks.
About The Role
Own the full development cycle - from researching a problem, defining the required dataset, implementing an efficient model, deploying it to production, and improving it upon real-world results.
You will work on computer-vision problems such as object detection, fine-grained classification, computational geometry, localization, tracking, and more.
Use, adapt and improve state-of-the-art implementations and adjust them to various project needs.
