Imagry is looking for an electrical, software, electronics, or mechatronics practical engineer to perform testing, integration, and upgrades on autonomous vehicles. The role includes work from our Haifa office as well as field activity in Nahariya and around the world. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for implementing software and hardware systems in autonomous vehicles and buses, identifying and reporting faults, and working closely with integration and software teams. This is an opportunity to join the forefront of the global autonomous driving industry and gain hands-on experience working with advanced systems and testing capabilities in real field conditions with real vehicles (not just simulations).
Requirements: 1. Degree as an electrical, software, electronics, or mechatronics Technician/ Practical Engineer. 2. At least four years of experience diagnosing and maintaining electronic and /or electrical systems in vehicles (passenger car / bus). 3. Ability to read schematics and understand both software and electrical systems in passenger cars and /or buses. 4. Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment for vehicle diagnosis. 5. Understanding of computer hardware, with the ability to build and upgrade computerized systems (e.g. high-end gaming PCs). 6. Willingness to perform electrical and software tests and ride an autonomous vehicle/bus for several hours a day in varying weather conditions. 7. Willingness to work in the field under pressure and meet deadlines. 8. Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods (2–4 weeks at a time) several times a year. 9. High proficiency in both English and Hebrew, in order to communicate with teams in Israel and worldwide. 10. Valid passenger vehicle driver's license — mandatory. 11. Familiarity with the autonomous vehicle field — an advantage.
