Reports to: VP Operations The Role We are looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead our global IT strategy while simultaneously serving as the companys information security and compliance lead. In this dual-hat role, you will report to the VP Operations and lead a talented team of IT professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring our infrastructure is robust and scalable (supporting R&D on-prem and in the cloud) while defining and enforcing the security policies that protect our IP and ensure compliance. Security & Compliance Lead Security Posture: Define the companys security vision; identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. GRC Ownership: Lead Governance, Risk, and Compliance efforts. Manage audits and maintain certifications (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance). Policy Creation: Author and enforce IT and Information Security policies, ensuring staff awareness and training. Business Continuity: Own the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) and DR (Disaster Recovery) strategies to ensure operational resilience. 3. Projects & Optimization
* Lead complex, end-to-end IT projects (e.g., system migrations, office moves, security hardening).
* Drive automation and efficiency in IT processes (leveraging tools like N8N, Workato, Jira, PowerShell, Python ).
* Define and monitor Department KPIs and SLAs.
