Join us to build the core of a next-generation virtualization platform. You'll work at the Linux Kernel and VMM boundary, developing low-level virtualization technologies similar to KVM, QEMU, and Firecracker.
Responsibilities
Design and develop hypervisor VMM components (vCPU, memory, device model, KVM API).
Develop Linux Kernel code, drivers, and Kernel modules.
Build lightweight, secure, high-performance microVM infrastructure.
Implement and optimize virtio devices and guest-host communication.
Profile and improve boot time, memory, and I/O performance.
Debug complex guest/host/ Kernel issues using low-level tooling.
Drive code reviews, technical direction, and systems architecture.
Requirements: Requirements
7+ years of low-level systems software development.
Expert in C and strong Rust.
Deep Linux Kernel and OS internals knowledge.
Hands-on experience with KVM, QEMU, Firecracker, or similar hypervisors.
Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VT-x/AMD-V), virtio, and Kernel debugging.
Nice to Have
Linux Kernel or virtualization open-source contributions.
Experience with serverless, container runtimes, or confidential computing (TDX / SEV-SNP).
ARM64 virtualization, performance engineering, or security research.
Tech Stack: Linux C Rust KVM QEMU Firecracker virtio x86_64 / ARM64
