A leading international company in the photonics and TEST measurement industry is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Service Engineer to support advanced laboratory and manufacturing TEST systems.
This role combines hands-on technical work in the companys laboratory with on-site support at customer facilities. The position requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, technical depth, and a customer-focused approach.
Requirements: Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments such as:
Optical power meters
Current and voltage measurement tools
Oscilloscopes
Signal generators
General-purpose electronic lab equipment
Strong technical troubleshooting skills at component and system level.
Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently both in laboratory and field environments.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in photonics, optical communication, or high-speed systems.
Familiarity with modular TEST systems such as PXI platforms.
Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
Experience supporting automated TEST systems.
