The System Engineer will join our growing system engineering group to support and lead the design, characterization, implementation, integration, and sustained engineering of our multidisciplinary, world-first autonomous robotic Bee-hive.
Roles and responsibilities:
Lead the project R&D development, defining system architecture, system processes, and engineering trade-offs, involving knowledge in mechanics, control systems, electronics, embedded software, cloud computing, and computer vision.
Define the engineering system requirements and support the implementation, integration, and testing phases.
Managing cross-functional team work.
Lead the sustained engineering of the bee-home from all aspects in the field and production line.
Requirements: B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
M.Sc in system engineering - Advantage
7+ years as a system engineer of a multidisciplinary product, more than a single project from kick-off to delivery - advantage
Proven technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, familiarizing control systems - advantage.
Experience as a Technical Project leader with capabilities to plan and manage work plans in a lean fashion
Proven experience in requirement and verification development process, with the ability to handle frequent changes arising from the product and customer needs
Hands-on experience in the integration and testing of multidisciplinary systems
Team worker, Self-learning capabilities
Complex problem-solving and debugging capabilities
Experience with a robotic system - Advantage
