BIRD Aerosystems, a global provider of innovative defense solutions is seeking a skilled EO & Radar Systems Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, integrating, and testing advanced electro-optical and radar systems for aerospace applications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge solutions, optimize system performance, and support the transition of advanced technologies from development to production and field deployment. Responsibilities
* Design and develop advanced defense system based on electro -optical (EO) and radar technologies for aerospace platforms.
* Lead and support system-level integration, testing, and validation of EO and radar technologies.
* Define system requirements, architectures, interfaces, and technical specifications.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hardware, software, algorithms, mechanical, production, and system engineering.
* Evaluate and integrate new EO, radar, sensing, and related technologies to enhance system capabilities.
Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in system engineering or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of aerospace systems and technologies.
* Experienced System Engineer in electro-optics and radar
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
