We're seeking a passionate and skilled experienced Networking Embedded Firmware Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering the next generation of our silicon. In this highly visible position, you'll be at the intersection of hardware and software, collaborating closely with logic designers to deeply understand system-level operations and performance requirements for hardware validation.

In this role, you will develop critical low-level embedded firmware specifically designed to validate hardware functionality, ensure conformance, and drive performance during the bring-up and testing phases of new silicon. This involves designing, developing, and integrating complex drivers, diagnostic tests, and infrastructure essential for SoC bring-up, post-silicon validation, and debugging activities. Responsibilities

Partner with product, system, cloud, firmware, hardware, and security engineering teams to design and deliver innovative security solutions.

Contribute to and lead the design, implementation, integration, testing, and delivery of core security features spanning firmware, operating systems, endpoint software, and cloud-connected services.

Develop and integrate secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable software and services using industry best practices and our high security and engineering standards.

Apply secure engineering practices, including threat modeling, secure design reviews, code reviews, mitigation planning, vulnerability response, and security validation.

Define technical requirements, architecture, dependencies, engineering priorities, and delivery plans in a complex cross-team environment.

Work closely with hardware, firmware, operating system, Windows internals, cloud, and security engineers to characterize solutions, define interfaces, and optimize security, reliability, and performance.

Drive features from inception through production, including quality, observability, deployment, monitoring, incident readiness, and continuous improvement.

Leverage advanced AI capabilities to accelerate engineering workflows and build AI-powered tools and agents that improve team productivity and product quality.

The Core SDK team operates across Android and iOS platforms, with a long-term vision of a unified mobile SDK engineering team. Engineers collaborate across platform boundaries while maintaining deep expertise in their primary mobile ecosystem.

What youll do
Develop and maintain our mobile SDK features used by developers worldwide.
