You will join the Commerce squad and build high-impact capabilities across our core commerce and internal platforms, including Admin experiences that power pricing, promotions, product data, and order lifecycle flows, as well as Operations and Customer Support. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with high standards, partnering closely with Product, Design, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver meaningful business outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence technical decisions, own features end-to-end, and build scalable systems that support critical commerce experiences used across the business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable microservices with strong API contracts and maintainable architecture
Own features end-to-end: clarify requirements, propose technical designs, break down delivery, coordinate dependencies, ship, monitor, and iterate based on real usage and business impact
Contribute to event-driven commerce architecture: publish and consume events, design resilient workflows, handle retries and idempotency, and ensure data consistency across services
Work within a Scala-based monolith, adapting quickly to unfamiliar technologies and applying pragmatic refactoring practices
Work with MongoDB and other data stores as needed, designing schemas and access patterns that support scale, performance, and long-term maintainability
Work with AWS cloud infrastructure and production systems, including observability, deployments, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and ship production backend and FullStack features for OurCrowd's investment platform using Node.js and microservices
* Build and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered tools used in production across the company, from prototype to rollout
* Architect and maintain scalable microservices, integrating SQL and NoSQL data stores as needed
* Design agentic workflows and orchestration pipelines, using low-code tools (e.g. n8n, Make) alongside custom services where appropriate
* Own features end to end: design, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
* Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to turn business and investor needs into technical solutions
* Evaluate emerging LLM frameworks and AI tooling to keep our stack current and production-ready
* Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews to uphold team quality standards

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale the data foundation behind platform and products. You will own complex data end-to-end - from ingestion and transformation through modeling, quality, observability, and production delivery.
This is a hands-on senior IC role for a strong builder who can solve difficult data problems independently, set a high technical bar, and collaborate closely with engineering, DS, and product. You will turn large, fragmented datasets into reliable, reusable capabilities that power every product.
Responsibilities
Build and own scalable data pipelines- Design, implement, and operate robust pipelines for high-volume structured and unstructured data, with validation, monitoring, lineage, and recovery built in.
Scale the platform for growth- A key near-term initiative is re-architecting the system to support a significantly larger customer base. You will own performance and cost-efficiency across pipelines and services, keeping reliability and operating costs under control as the platform scales.
Build across the stack- This is not a pipelines-only role. You will also write backend services and some frontend, including the internal backoffice the team runs on. We hire builders, not narrow specialists.

Software Engineer, Systems Responsibilities
Architect and implement large-scale distributed systems and platform services that support high-throughput, low-latency workloads across our product infrastructure
Lead the technical design of systems components including storage layers, compute pipelines, networking abstractions, and service orchestration frameworks
