A leading and innovative company in the field of cyber threat intelligence is looking for a Backend Team Lead to join our growing engineering group and lead one of our core backend teams.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for building and scaling mission critical backend services that power our intelligence platform handling large volumes of data, complex pipelines and high-availability systems. You will combine people leadership with hands-on technical leadership, working closely with product, research and operations to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that directly support the companys growth and business goals.
What Youll Be Doing;
Lead and grow a backend engineering team, creating a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
Own the design, development, and delivery of backend services, APIs and data pipelines in a cloud-native, microservices-based environment.
Work closely with Product, Research, and Operations to translate business and intelligence needs into scalable technical solutions.
Drive technical and architectural decisions within your domain, balancing performance, reliability, and cost.
Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
Be hands-on in the code (around 50-60%), leading by example.
Take full ownership of your teams roadmap, delivery, and technical health.
Technology stack includes: C#, NestJS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and various relational and non-relational databases, Elasticsearch.

We are seeking a Backend Tech Lead to join a Full-Stack team that is part of the group responsible for main product line, the Imaging platform.
This team focuses on the radiologist's experience, providing the primary access point to AI. The team manages the application installed on the radiologist's computer and the Python-based Gateway service that delivers data to its endpoints.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our backend services, encompassing architecture, coding, and developer mentorship.
Responsibilities:
Lead Full-Stack Development: Lead the design and development of scalable and reliable backend services that power radiologist-facing applications.
Architectural Leadership: Drive architectural discussions and make key technical decisions within the team's domain, ensuring high quality, performance, and maintainability
Ownership: Receive end-to-end ownership for product features from ideation to deployment, and work closely with Product and UX to bring the teams imagination to life.
Development Work: Contribute hands-on to the implementation of backend services and occasionally to frontend components when needed.
Mentorship: Mentor and support engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
Incorporate Best Practices: Champion best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD processes to enhance delivery consistency and reliability.
Strategic Collaboration and Influence: Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to ensure alignment and technical coherence across the Imaging Platform
