We're looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help secure applications, infrastructure, and the agentic systems we're building for the future of insurance.
You'll be part of a small, sharp security team that works horizontally across the entire organization - from AI and application security, to cloud and IT security, and beyond. This isn't a narrow, siloed role. You'll own meaningful domains, drive automation that lets the team scale, and help shape how security works at a company that's genuinely reimagining what insurance can be. The team has built an in-house AI security platform, and you'll build your agents on top of it.
We believe three things matter for every role: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.
Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
Requirements:
5+ years in security engineering, with a strong application security or development foundation
Hands-on coding ability - you'll write automation, tooling, and agents, primarily in TypeScript and/or Python (strong TypeScript or Python skills are required)
Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle and how security integrates across all its layers
Experience with cloud environments, AWS preferred - familiarity with AWS is a meaningful advantage
Comfort working in ambiguous environments where priorities shift
A proactive mindset - you spot gaps before they're reported, and you fill them
Clear communication skills to translate security risks for non-security audiences
Ready to work in an office environment most days of the week
This position is open to all candidates.

We're looking for a Senior Principal Threat Hunter to serve as a senior technical leader within our Cyber Defense Team team.

This is a high impact individual contributor role, you won't manage people, but you'll influence how we hunt, investigate

and respond to threats across cloud and SaaS environments at scale.

You'll be the person who takes a weak signal, a piece of emerging intelligence, or an unusual customer activity pattern and turns it into a meaningful investigation, a proactive hunt, or a new detection opportunity.

You'll lead the most complex investigations, drive threat intelligence initiatives, and help define the hunting methodologies that guide our customers' security outcomes.

As one of the team's most senior practitioners, you'll act as a force multiplier across hunting, intelligence, and incident response functions, elevating technical standards, mentoring peers, and helping shape the future of our detection and response capabilities.

What You'll Do
- Design and execute proactive threat hunts across cloud and SaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Okta, M365), grounded in current intelligence and ATT&CK-mapped adversary behavior.
- Mature and operate a recurring threat intelligence reporting function, turning intel into hunt leads, detection opportunities, and customer-facing narratives.
- Lead incident response investigations during US business hours, from scoping through root cause; step into the Incident Commander role when required.
- Continuously monitor threat detections and deliver responsive services with thorough event analysis and judgement.
- Triage and investigate security alerts across cloud and SaaS environments, separating true threats from noise and surfacing detection gaps to the detection engineering team.
- Leverage automation and AI tooling to scale impact, and propose improvements for processes, workflows, products, and policies.
- PLUS: Exposure to detection engineering, tooling and automation development, or prior managed services (MSSP) experience.
Requirements:
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in a security operations role, with a focus on threat hunting and/or threat intelligence
- Proven experience building or contributing to a structured threat hunt and/or threat intelligence program
- Incident response experience with the ability to lead investigations independently; Incident Commander experience a plus
- Working knowledge of cloud and SaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Okta, M365)
- Hands-on use of automation or AI tooling in security operations; demonstrated use, not just awareness
- Strong written and verbal communication, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, highly independent and self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced and virtual environment
This position is open to all candidates.

We're looking for a Senior Security Engineer to own and elevate the security posture of our
cloud-native, AI-driven SaaS platform. Reporting to the Director of DevOps, you'll be the technical
anchor for security across our product, infrastructure, and organization - combining hands-on
engineering with the strategic judgment to translate risk into clear, actionable priorities.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who can operate end to end: threat modeling a new feature
in the morning, hardening cloud infrastructure in the afternoon, and briefing leadership on risk posture
by the end of the week. As we scale our platform and deepen our use of AI/ML, you'll define how we
build, ship, and operate securely - often standing up programs and controls that don't yet exist.
You'll work cross-functionally well beyond engineering, partnering with Customer Success, Marketing,
Finance, and Legal to make security a shared, business-aware practice rather than a gate at the end of
the line.
What You'll Do:
Own the day-to-day security engineering function across cloud infrastructure, application, and data
layers.
Lead threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management across the product and
platform lifecycle.
Design, implement, and continuously improve cloud security controls across AWS, GCP, and/or
Azure environments.
Assess and secure our AI/ML systems, addressing the unique risks they introduce - from data
pipelines to model and LLM behavior.
Drive compliance readiness and audit support for frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and
GDPR.
Embed security into the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines, partnering closely with DevOps and engineering
teams.
Translate technical risk into clear business and board-level language, and advise leadership on
prioritization and trade-offs.
Partner cross-functionally with non-engineering teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Finance,
Legal) to build security awareness and practical, low-friction controls.
Lead or support incident response, including detection, containment, remediation, and post-incident
review.
Requirements:
8+ years in security engineering, security architecture, or a CISO/Security Officer role.
Deep cloud security experience (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Hands-on with threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
Working knowledge of AI/ML systems and their unique security challenges.
Experience with compliance frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR (or equivalent).
Strong communication - translates technical risk into business and board language.
Comfortable operating cross-functionally with non-engineering teams (CS, Marketing, Finance).
Nice to Have
Prior experience in a fast-scaling SaaS or AI-driven product company.
Hands-on red-teaming of LLM-based systems.
Familiarity with the OWASP LLM Top 10 and NIST AI RMF.
Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent.
Experience standing up a security program from scratch (rather than scaling an existing one).
This position is open to all candidates.

Job Type: Full Time
We're looking for a Principal Cloud Security Researcher to serve as a senior technical leader within our Research team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role -- you won't manage people, but you'll shape the direction of our entire research function, mentor researchers, and act as a force multiplier across the organization.
You'll be the person who takes a vague threat signal and turns it into a detection strategy, a published finding, or a product capability. You'll operate as a trusted deputy to the research team lead, owning the most complex and ambiguous research challenges while raising the technical bar for the team.
What You'll Do
Drive Groundbreaking Research
Own and drive our most critical research initiatives end-to-end - from initial threat hypothesis through detection logic, product integration, and external publication.
Set the technical direction for cloud threat research across AWS, Azure, and GCP, identifying emerging attack surfaces and novel techniques before they become mainstream threats.
Investigate real-world cloud and SaaS security incidents, dissecting attacker tradecraft and extracting insights that evolve our detection capabilities.
Pioneer new forensic investigation techniques and detection methodologies for cloud-native and SaaS environments - pushing the state of the art, not just following it.
Be a Voice in the Community

Represent our company as a thought leader through high-quality research publications, conference presentations (BlackHat, DEF CON, RSA, fwd:cloudsec, and similar venues), and open-source contributions.
Build and maintain our reputation as a research-driven company that advances the field - not just a vendor with a blog.
Engage with the broader security research community, fostering relationships and collaborative knowledge-sharing.
Shape the Product

Bridge research and product - translate threat findings into actionable product requirements, working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure our CDR platform stays ahead of evolving threats.
Design and develop advanced detection algorithms that directly feed into our platform, closing the gap between research insight and customer protection.
Elevate the Team
Act as the team's go-to technical authority. When researchers hit a wall on complex cloud attack chains, IAM edge cases, or detection gaps - you're who they turn to.
Mentor and grow other researchers through research reviews, pair investigations, code reviews, and by setting quality standards and methodology best practices.
Influence technical decisions org-wide - contributing to architecture, tooling, and strategic research priorities.
Step in as the research team lead's deputy when needed - driving prioritization, representing research cross-functionally, and ensuring continuity.
Requirements:
8+ years in security research, threat research, or closely related fields (offensive security, detection engineering, incident response, cloud security engineering). Fewer years are fine if your depth and track record are exceptional.
Deep multi-cloud expertise - strong hands-on experience across at least two of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), with working knowledge of the third. You understand the IAM models, logging pipelines, APIs, and attack surfaces that matter in each.
A track record of original research - you've published meaningful technical findings through blog posts, conference talks, open-source tools, or vulnerability discoveries that moved the needle. We want someone who doesn't just consume research - you produce it.
Strong adversarial mindset and critical thinking - you think like an attacker targeting cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, identity systems, and Kubernetes. You can model threat scenarios, map out attack paths, and poke holes in defenses.
This position is open to all candidates.

Job Type: Full Time
Senior Security Engineer to act as a hands-on technical leader inside our security org, part builder, part architect, part trusted partner to R&D. You'll sit in design reviews, push back (constructively) on architecture choices, prototype the controls we're missing, and help R&D ship faster and safer.

This role suits an engineer who thinks in systems, codes when needed, and is energized by securing modern AI-driven, multi-cloud environments.

What you'll do:
Act as a security architect for new initiatives. Join design and solution-concept meetings with R&D before code is written and help shape architectures that are secure by default. Produce threat models, reference designs, and decision docs that engineers actually use.
Partner with R&D as a peer, not a gatekeeper. Embed with product and engineering teams. Translate security requirements into engineering language, and engineering trade-offs into risk language for leadership.
Own security across our multi-cloud footprint (AWS, GCP, Azure). Design and implement controls for identity, network, workload, and data protection that work consistently across environments.
Drive AI security. Build our defenses against threats specific to LLM and ML systems: prompt injection, model abuse, training-data integrity, agentic-workflow risks, MCP/tool-use exposure, secrets in prompts, and supply-chain risk in the AI stack. Help define what "secure AI development" means for us in practice.
Lead data security initiatives. Classification, encryption, key management, DLP, access governance, and data-flow mapping.
Evaluate and implement new technologies. Run POCs and deploy new tooling end-to-end. We expect you to have strong opinions on the security stack and to evolve it as the threat landscape shifts.
Write code. Automate controls, build internal tools, contribute to detection pipelines, and integrate security into CI/CD.
Requirements:
Must-haves:
5+ years in security engineering, application security, or cloud security, with meaningful time in a hands-on technical capacity.
Strong software development background - you've shipped production code and read others' code fluently.
Deep experience securing multi-cloud environments, including IAM, networking, workload security, and infrastructure-as-code.
Architect-level thinking: ability to look at a system diagram and identify trust boundaries, blast radius, failure modes, and the controls that actually matter
Hands-on experience with data security at scale, classification, encryption, key management, access controls.
Demonstrated experience introducing and operationalizing new security technologies, not just maintaining existing ones.
Track record of working closely with engineering teams; you're comfortable in design reviews and code reviews.
Direct experience with AI/ML security, securing LLM applications, agentic systems, model deployments, or AI infrastructure.
This position is open to all candidates.

As a Senior Hyperautomation Engineer - Wayfinder MDR, you will be tasked with designing, building, and operating the automation layer that powers Wayfinder MDR. Join our Wayfinder MDR organization, an elite Managed Detection & Response service protecting some of the worlds largest and most complex environments. You will work closely with Threat Service Engineers (TSEs), SOC analysts, Threat Hunters, and R&D teams to transform manual SOC processes into scalable, reliable, and efficient automation workflows. This role focuses on engineering and automation, not alert triage. You will help shape how MDR operates at scale by reducing manual workload, improving signal-to-noise ratio, and enabling faster and more consistent threat detection and response.
What Will You Do?
Primary responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain hyperautomation workflows that support alert triage, enrichment, investigation, and response.
Convert SOC playbooks, investigation logic, and threat-hunting processes into automated, production-grade workflows.
Proactively identify repetitive or high-volume SOC tasks and implement automation to improve efficiency and consistency.
Build and maintain integrations with internal platforms and third-party security tools using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven mechanisms.
Collaborate closely with Threat Service Engineers (TSEs) and SOC teams to fine-tune existing detections and automation logic.
Improve and optimize MDR operational processes to ensure fast response times and effective threat mitigation.
Own automation workflows end-to-end, including design, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Create and maintain automation playbooks, templates, and best practices to support incident response at scale.
Work closely with R&D and product teams to provide operational feedback and help shape future detection and response capabilities.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have:
5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Automation Engineering, SOC Tooling, Backend Engineering, or similar technical roles.
Strong experience with Python (required); experience with SQL is highly preferred.
Experience building and operating automation workflows or backend services in production environments.
Solid understanding of SOC operations, incident response workflows, and security alert lifecycles.
Experience working with APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational challenges into scalable engineering solutions.
Professional and articulate, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in MDR, SOC, Threat Hunting, or Incident Response environments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Experience with security telemetry, alerting pipelines, SIEM/XDR concepts, or internal SOC tooling.
Experience building internal tools for operational or security teams.
This position is open to all candidates.
