Join us at IDX PS-Engineering group as a Development Manager, where youll have the exciting opportunity to lead the development of critical tools that power the Professional Services (PS) organization. In this role, youll guide a team of talented, highly motivated engineers to build innovative solutions that support all of our offerings. Youll oversee the design, development, and maintenance of PS tools, AI-driven automation services, and enhanced capabilities for the PS Salesforce ticketing system , all with an AI-First mindset. This is a high-impact leadership role within a growing team, where your contributions will directly drive operational excellence and scalable innovation across the company.
Responsibilities
Build a high-performing team by putting the right people in the right roles at the right time
Lead PS tools development efforts, including setting priorities, providing time estimates, managing releases, and ensuring execution
Guide, coach, and mentor software engineers including hands-on involvement, technical guidance, design and code reviews
Evaluate employee performance, set expectations and goals, recruit, train, and support career growth for team members
Drive innovation by initiating and embracing new ideas that deliver measurable impact for our customers
Define and promote engineering standards, development processes, and best practices to ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality software
Partner closely with IDX Platform teams to optimize integration, streamline development processes, and enhance user experience
Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Management, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other Engineering leaders.
Requirements: 6+ years of experience in a software engineering management role, with prior hands-on experience as a developer

Proactive, self-driven, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
Hands-on experience with Java and Python
Proven track record of building web applications, working with databases, and designing microservices-based systems
Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable solution design
Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and agile processes
Background in supporting both internal and external customers, managing operations, and communicating with key stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English
Preferred: experience working with distributed teams, including offshore and outsourced teams (India and US)
BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
