we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Risk Director to join the company. In this role, you will lead the design and establishment of a comprehensive risk management framework for a global leading fintech group. You will assess, evaluate, and manage risks across the business, building a robust risk function, establishing risk policies and procedures, providing actionable insights to senior leadership and fostering a culture of risk awareness.
The Risk Director will report to the Chief Legal Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze current risks and identify potential risks affecting the company.
Create risk policies and procedures.
Lead the risk management for the global group, across all verticals, lines of business and territories in which the group operates.
Establish tailored risk management processes for unique lines of business, including advanced financial services, credit issuance, crypto related services, and more.
Evaluate the organizations past risk management strategies and compare potential risks with defined criteria, such as cost implications and legal requirements.
Establish the companys risk tolerance levels and implement measures to align with those thresholds.
Develop and manage risk management.
Deliver tailored risk reports to different stakeholders, including:

Supporting individuals in recognizing their accountability for specific risks.
Communicate external risks, including corporate governance concerns, to stakeholders.
Design and implement business continuity plans to mitigate risks.

Requirements:
Proven extensive experience managing the risk function in an organization, or similar senior role in risk.
Ability to manage a substantial function in a global corporation.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Industrial Management, or a related field;
Experience the fintech industry strong advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with product and engineering teams to implement, test, and refine fraud prevention mechanisms and compliance features within the platform.
