As we expand we're looking for a talented and experienced Legal counsel to join our rapidly growing company.
The Legal Counsel reports directly to the Head of Legal - Commercial and serves as in-house attorney handling the companys legal needs. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to assist in the management of the companys day to day legal and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, ranging from complex cloud technology agreements, various forms of software licenses, Software as a Service, support and maintenance, data processing agreements, professional services contracts, payment processing agreements and non-disclosure agreements. You will advise on liabilities, legal restrictions and risks associated with such agreements.
Provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to various departments across the company.
Other duties as may be required.

As Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the General Counsel, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Legal Research & Compliance: Support product and service compliance, including privacy laws and FTC guidelines.
Commercial Agreements: Draft, review, negotiate, and structure various contracts.
Internal Advisory: Provide legal guidance on customer experience, product development, and company policies.
Marketing & Partnerships Compliance: Review marketing materials and external communications for regulatory compliance.

* Serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams on a wide range of legal matters, with a primary focus on commercial law, special projects, and IP-related issues.

Your Impact

Support incident response activities, including containment, forensic investigation, root cause analysis, and post-incident documentation.
Perform regular policy and firewall rule reviews to ensure alignment with access requirements and enforcement of Zero Trust principles.
Contribute to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) efforts, including audit participation, third-party risk assessments, and evidence collection for SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP certifications.
