What youll do:
Work as part of a highly skilled performance engineering team based in Israel.
Design, implement, and maintain performance testing frameworks and infrastructure.
Identify system bottlenecks and analyse application behaviour under various load conditions. Proactively analyse and optimize the performance and scalability of services deployed on SAP
Business Technology Platform.
Collaborate with development, architects, and product teams to embed performance best
practices across the development lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, metrics, and performance dashboards.
Requirements: BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years hands-on experience in performance/ Load Testing, benchmarking, and profiling of distributed systems.
Hands-on knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes runtime environments.
Solid experience with Load Testing tools such as k6, Gatling, or JMeter (k6 preferred).
Strong proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language: JavaScript, Go, Python, or JAVA.
Deep understanding of performance metrics: throughput, latency, percentiles, resource utilization, etc.
Practical experience with monitoring, observability, and profiling tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Dynatrace, or similar.
Proven experience analysing performance at multiple layers: application, network, infrastructure, container/runtime.
