abra R&D is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of complex, real-time embedded systems across multiple interfaces and platforms. Full-time + On Site position based in Central (Jerusalem) Israel. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop embedded software for real-time operating systems (Linux, VxWorks, FreeRTOS)
* Work with hardware-software interfaces including BSPs and serial communication
* Perform full software lifecycle activities: design, coding (C/C++), testing, and integration
* Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and algorithm teams for seamless system integration

About the Role

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our growing R&D team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and performance of our innovative products, working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to support fast, reliable releases.

What Youll Do

Plan, create, and execute manual test cases based on product and technical requirements
Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory testing on web applications
Identify, document, and follow up on bugs using Jira and other tools
Collaborate with development and product teams to define testing scope and ensure release readiness
Support production issue investigations and validations
Help improve QA processes, documentation, and testing coverage
Participate in sprint planning and product spec reviews to ensure testability
Create the test plans and execute them alongside the Unit tests, Components test written by DEV and understand what to test according to the testing Pyramid.

* Develop software for various micro-controllers and coping with various rt constraints.
* Involvement in projects / products from end to end - from concept and simulation, through development and integration and field deployment.
* Building complex simulations integrating SW and HW and working hand by hand with HW team.
* Interface with and support Hardware teams in testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting throughout the development cycle. This role requires an understanding of power conversion, Embedded systems, and Real-Time control algorithms.
