Your Impact
As the QA Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our groundbreaking maritime technology. You'll lead a talented QA team, define testing strategies, and implement automation frameworks to uphold the highest standards across our products. Working closely with software and product teams, you will take ownership of the testing lifecycle, drive quality initiatives, and ensure seamless delivery in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What You'll Do
Lead QA Strategy & Execution: Design and implement comprehensive testing procedures, quality metrics, and test strategies to maintain product excellence.
Automation Leadership: Architect and lead the development of test automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
Team Management: Mentor and manage a skilled QA team, fostering collaboration with software and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Quality Ownership: Take full ownership of product quality, proactively identifying, tracking, and resolving quality issues and escalations.
Process Optimization: Establish and enforce QA standards and best practices, ensuring thorough coverage of front-end, back-end, and integrated system testing.
Communication & Reporting: Monitor and report on quality metrics, ensuring clear communication of testing progress, risks, and outcomes.
Requirements: Proven Leadership: 2+ years of experience leading small to medium QA teams in a hands-on capacity, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment.
Comprehensive QA Expertise: Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA methodologies, and best practices.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with:
Back-end and front-end testing
Cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Linux environments and scripting
Python programming
Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD)
QA management tools (e.g., Jira)
Complex Systems: Experience testing multi-disciplinary systems that involve networking, communication, cameras, advanced algorithms, and AI.
Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
