We are looking for a hands-on, highly technical Junior Electrical Practical Engineer (or similar background) to join our team. This position is field-oriented and involves frequent travel between our solar sites across Israel. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and supporting our SCADA systems, including network components and edge devices.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy and configure SCADA systems across solar power plant sites.
Perform preliminary configuration and testing of Edge devices.
Configure and support firewalls and switches.
Execute various network tasks such as port configuration, VLAN setup, routing checks, etc.
Run automated scripts for system configuration and validation.
Troubleshoot on-site issues related to communication, IOS, network, and system behavior.
Configure and verify IO modules and other field devices.
Requirements: Electrical Practical Engineer diploma or similar technical certification/degree.
Strong hands-on technical abilities and quick learning skills.
Basic understanding of IT networks (TCP/IP, switches, routing, VLANs).
Ability to follow structured processes and checklists with high attention to detail.
Excellent troubleshooting capabilities-especially in the field.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently.
Comfortable working independently at remote sites.
