The Capacity Planning Manager reports to the Head of Global Supply Chain, is a key member of the Global Supply Chain management team and is based in Adama headquarters in Airport City, Israel. The Capacity Planning Manager assures the capabilities to meet the long and medium term supply plan.
process, Policy and Tools
Work with Adama's global production sites' leaders to fully understand the capacity and constraints of all global manufacturing lines and assure the capabilities to meet long and medium term supply requirements.
Identify if jobbing activities are required to supplement in order to meet the short, mid and long term global supply.
Participate in the strategy to outsource production with Head of International Manufacturing, identifying the best production locations to reduce cost and inventory, while maintaining the required service level.
Manage key interface with International Manufacturing function on the approval of engaging Jobbers.
Lead the launching committee and assure smooth and timely supply of new products to sales units.
Identify short and long term constraints to provide CapEx (capital expenditure) requirements to global manufacturing functions (China, Israel, Global).
Based on possible outcomes of supply scenarios, plan how to fulfil the supply plan for the coming year Work Plan and Five Year Plan.
Analyze all product launches and understand the constraints to anticipate flaws, registration, technological gaps, costs, IP, capacity, and lead monthly meetings with Product Management to implement the best supply model to meet the Sales Unit needs.
Find the necessary capacity to fully implement QRM (Quick Replenishment Model).
Active Control Follow up on the execution of projects to eliminate the constraints and fulfill the supply requirement Measure capacity planning KPIs.
Operations background with 5+ years of increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in production and supply chain related areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong planning and process orientation.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
General knowledge of IT and systems processes (knowledge of JDA is an advantage).
Education, Language & Computer Skills:
Relevant academic degree such as Engineering, Industrial Management, etc.
2nd degree in Business Administration or MBA is an advantage.
Fluent Hebrew and English (reading, writing, speaking).
Additional language is an advantage, especially Spanish.
