We are seeking a talented Product Director to lead the development of one of our key business products. This highly influential role will significantly impact the success and roadmap of the product. Primary Mission: Lead the strategic vision and execution of our product portfolio, specifically focused on developing tools tailored for business solutions within our app. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of business solutions, and the ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team to empower businesses through innovative digital tools. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership for Business Solutions: - Define the product direction and strategy for business-focused product areas. - Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and the unique needs of businesses.
Team Management: - Lead and mentor a team of product managers dedicated to creating solutions that enhance the business experience. Customer Facing / Sales Interface Responsibility: - Engage with customers, partners, and the sales team to understand business needs, pain points, and priorities. - Inform product strategy and provide transparency into roadmaps and managing expectations.
Product Lifecycle Management: - Oversee the entire lifecycle of business tools, from ideation and concept development to launch and ongoing optimization.
Market Analysis and Customer Insights: - Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities specific to small businesses. - Utilize data analysis techniques to gather and analyze customer feedback, incorporating insights into product planning and development processes.
Financial Accountability: - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to small business solutions to assess product performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements: - 4+ years of experience in people management and a total of 8+ years in product management, consulting, co-founder, or technical experience. - Proven experience in a leadership role within product management, preferably with a focus on developing tools for small businesses. - Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and the unique challenges and opportunities for small businesses. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different teams. - Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth. - Experience in data analysis and utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring product performance and user engagement. - Ability to collaborate, solve ambiguous problems, and think innovatively. - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or Ph.D. in a technology or business-related field is a plus. - Experience in SMB, B2B, and API messaging solutions domains is a plus.
