About the Role
We are seeking a Backend Team Lead to lead our Core Experience team, which owns mission-critical backend systems such as authentication, api gaterway, and session management. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with people management. You will guide a team of backend engineers to build reliable, scalable, and secure services that power the core of our companys platform.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering technical growth and career development.
Own the architecture, design, and implementation of backend services for Core Experience.
Ensure high system reliability, scalability, and performance in a high-volume production environment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Mobile, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Provide hands-on technical guidance, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
Align team roadmap with business goals, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Requirements: Qualifications
6+ years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
Strong expertise in distributed systems, high-scale architectures, and backend frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Go, Node.js adjust to our companys tech stack).
Solid understanding of databases, API design, and system integrations.
Proven ability to lead engineering teams, mentor individuals, and foster collaboration.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in fintech, mobility, or transactional systems is a strong advantage.
