Backend Developer

Dynamic Yield is seeking a Backend Developer with a deep understanding of web application architecture, server-side programming, and a passion for optimizing backend systems. As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust, efficient, and scalable Python-based backend systems. Role:
Build and optimize Python-based backend services and APIs to deliver real-time content recommendations with low latency across multiple data centers.
Handle large-scale data processing and ensure the performance and scalability of backend systems.
Design and implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms using databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL systems (Redis, Elasticsearch).
Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) to deploy and manage backend services, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective backend solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code that adheres to industry best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in backend development, and continuously improve the backend stack.

What will you do?
Drive sales enablement activities; act as the key contact with the sales organization driving communications of product direction, positioning, key messages, and sales collateral.
Drive product launch and develop go-to-market plans, manage the development of sales enablement tools and training for the field sales force
Develop the sales tools (PPTs, feature briefs, case studies, white papers, product brochures) to support the sales process of the companys solutions and drive clarity and consistency of message.
Develop thought-leadership materials designed to accelerate our business momentum and better engage customers.
Present our products and solutions in formal and informal settings.
Evangelize our solutions portfolio to our customers through events, webinars, and other external communications channels.
Travel for presentations, training, tradeshows, and events up to 25%.

We are looking for the person who will take the responsibility over the corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting for the Israeli companies of the group. In addition, this person will be exposed to the wide range of international tax topics of a large international US multinational group and would be able to expand their responsibilities and learn new skills.
What you'll be doing
Ensure compliance with Israeli tax regulations, lead the preparation of the Israeli CIT returns.
Ensure tax compliance and filings in respect of the Encouragement Law.
Participate in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process, be responsible for the tax accounting inputs into the Israeli statutory reporting and US GAAP reporting.
Prepare provisions calculations in accordance with US GAAP.
Be responsible for the Special Company procedures.
Handle tax audits, disputes, and assessments, including negotiations with tax authorities on corporate tax, VAT, and social security (Bituah Leumi).
Drive reorganizations and entity optimization processes.
Collaborate with external advisors on tax-related matters.
Possibility to learn and participate in a variety of the global tax projects: Pillar 2, Digital Service Tax, direct and indirect tax compliance in EMEA/APAC, transfer pricing, APAs, R&D credits, tax automation projects, etc.
