We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team, focusing on projects and ongoing production aspects and maintenance. Responsibilities:
* Managing Chemical and Mechanical Engineers, Maintenance Staff, and Process Engineers across two production lines serving different industries.
* Provide in-depth technical guidance and expertise in chemical and mechanical processes, leading the team in identifying and implementing best practices for efficient and safe operations.
* Motivate, mentor, and coach a team of chemical and mechanical process engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects within budget, timeline, and resource constraints.
* Oversee maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
* Actively identify opportunities to optimize existing chemical and mechanical processes for enhanced efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Q.A., Productions) to ensure project success and facilitate knowledge exchange.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues across international borders and time zones.
* Proficiency in quality management methodologies and tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, etc.).
Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus)
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role within the chemical or mechanical engineering field
* Proven track record of leading and motivating engineering teams
* Demonstrated expertise in chemical and mechanical process engineering principles
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Working knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and proven ability to apply them in a real-world setting
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
