Head of Communications and PR

We're seeking an experienced Communications and PR leader to play a pivotal role in promoting our brand narrative through engaging, business-driven content across earned channels. This is a unique opportunity to define and tell the story of the future of hospitality, a narrative that will significantly contribute to our strategic PR initiatives and overall business success.
Responsibilities
Support our companys global media relations initiatives in key markets, including the US, UK, Europe & Australia, by creating and implementing a PR outreach strategy and driving day-to-day press office routines, including crisis managment (when needed)
Draft press releases, commentary by leaders, and powerful, eye-catching pitches
Build strong relationships with key reporters, influencers, and industry leaders to integrate content marketing strategies and establish a robust distribution network
Work with our Business Intelligence team to pull data-driven trends and insights on travel behavior and weave them into all marketing initiatives - from press, and earned speaking opportunities to infographics
Stay on top of the latest trends in our industry and alternative accommodations, flagging relevant news to teams while also practicing newsjacking and trending stories
Develop and execute a thought leadership program for the C-suite, from conception through to implementation
Own our awards program, submitting entries to key organizations
Own influencers and brand ambassador programs from planning to execution
Collaborate with teams across the company, including Product, Biz Dev, Sales, and more
Requirements: 5-6 years experience in a PR/communications role ideally in a global SaaS/B2B organization and/or startup
Experience working and presenting to C-level management
Experience working with influencers and/or brand ambassadors, and managing these relationships - a plus
Native English speaker, a must
Excellent writing and editorial skills
Incredibly organized with attention to detail, team player, and enthusiastic
Ability to shift quickly and adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines and moving KPIs forward
Keen attention to detail along with strong organizational and project management skills
Management experience, a plus
