we are seeking a HW Board Design Engineer for Test and Qualification team.
Your Impact

You will be responsible for hardware board design activities with a strong focus on test, qualification, and readiness for production. This role spans all phases of hardware development, from architecture and design through bring-up, validation, and qualification:

Define hardware architecture and board-level design strategy with test, qualification, SI, and PI requirements in mind

Oversee schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection

Review designs for quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, testability (DFM/DFT), signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI)

Own test readiness, including support for bring-up, debugging, validation, and qualification

Work closely with FW, SW, mechanical, QA, test, and manufacturing teams

Drive design reviews, SI/PI risk analysis, and technical decision-making

Support transition from prototype to qualified hardware and production release

Ensure compliance with relevant standards and qualification requirements

Develop advanced verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM
Write, run, and debug testbenches to ensure complete functional coverage
Drive pre-silicon and in-lab debug activities to resolve complex issues
Collaborate with RTL, architecture, and physical design teams to achieve design closure
Support methodology development, scripting, and automation to enhance productivity
Contribute to the success, powering the next generation of Internet infrastructure

Spearhead innovative switch system design, guiding the process from concept through to mass production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in areas such as board design, mechanics, thermal, PCB layout, production, software/firmware, RTL, and more.
Act as the technical focal point and decision-maker for the project.
Conduct hands-on testing in a lab environment and support production and qualification stages.
Define product specifications, develop electrical schematics, and guide component selection and layout processes.

what will your job look like?
work closely with design and TEST engineers from the earliest development phases to review chip electrical and mechanical specifications and define the hardware architecture and requirements for load boards (lb) and probe cards (pc).
lead and oversee all aspects of lb and pc development, including schematics, bom selection, pcb layout, pi/si simulations, and mechanical design.
define, guide, and validate testsocket requirements, specifications, design, and electrical performance.
establish electrical and mechanical specifications for custom RF modules integrated into the complete TEST system architecture.

We are looking for a senior hardware engineer to join our av platform hw development group in israel to design the next generation of autonomous driving systems. what will your job look like?
responsible for specifying the hardware for our autonomous driving systems
lead the hw design process: product specification, electrical schematics, component selection, layout, hands-on testing in a lab environment, verification, accompanying production and qualification processes
define signal integrity simulations (lpddr4, mipi, fpd-link, etc.), perform power integrity (dc drop, pdn ac analysis) and analog simulations (like spice).
manage the technical interface with our customers to derive the product hardware requirements
work in collaboration with all the project disciplines: system architecture, mechanical and thermal, software (networking and algorithms), safety and reliability.

lead end-to-end life cycle of the system architecture - from analyzing oems (customers) technical requirements to hw architecture definition, development and verification to ensure integration of our products into the vehicle platform.
work in close collaboration with various groups including algo, hw design, verification, sw architect, mechanics, and simulations.
provide architectural guidance and tradeoff recommendations throughout the whole design process from concept through production.
responsible for the main components selection and technical evaluation (trade-off between cost/performance etc.)
provide practical system architecture definition to board designers and sw/algo by managing system external interconnects and internal interfaces, SOC, mcu, definitions and optimization (based on oems requirements and other constraints)

which department will you join?
our hw team - a group designing the eyeq chips for adas and autonomous cars. the group is responsible for all disciplines of development, including but not limited to logic design, design verification, microarchitecture, analog and circuit design and layout, physical and structural design ( backend ), product and TEST engineering.
each physical design engineer has an end to end responsibility from definition, execution & full signoffs, working closely with design & architecture teams for constraints development, design review & rtl modifications to achieve converges were looking for a physical design engineer to join the growing physical design team, responsible for state of the art SOC design from definition to tape-out. what will your job look like:
hands-on physical design block owner from rtl to gds.
floorplan exploration with guidance and collaboration with Front-End and architecture teams.
sta: work with fe and floor planner to manage block and top level constraints and 1st level of timing analysis.
synthesis exploration and final synthesis netlist: scan insertion @ synthesis, clean checks from lint, upf & spyglass.
place & route: from synthesis netlist to final layout and signoff verification with target to achieve best power performance and area.
