Our team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our CMDB (Configuration Management Database) adapters for platforms like ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Jira Service Desk. We own the end-to-end process of integrating these critical data sources into the platform, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and efficient data flow. A key part of our responsibilities involves deep diving into complex bugs, understanding intricate business logic, and delivering robust, scalable solutions.
As part of the CMDB Adapters team, youll help extend the platform by ensuring seamless and reliable connections to our customers' vital CMDBs. Your work will power deep visibility into asset data, helping customers untangle complexity and stay in control of their environments by leveraging their existing IT infrastructure.
What your day will look like:
You will be working with high volumes of data and at scale in a production environment, ensuring the stability and performance of our integrations.
Be a tenacious problem-solver, providing out-of-the-box solutions to unique and challenging bugs.
Develop a deep understanding of customer business logic and data models within CMDB platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira Service Desk) to design and implement effective solutions.
Own feature development from definition level through actual usage in customer environments, focusing on the quality and reliability of CMDB integrations.
Researching solutions, developing, and deploying quick features/customizations to ensure our integrations remain cutting-edge and meet evolving customer needs.
In a nutshell, you will be the technical ace who ensures our critical CMDB integrations are solid and dependable.
Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong focus on data integration, debugging, and understanding complex business logic.
2+ years in Python - At least
Fast learning ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiar with at least one of the following communication methods: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, LDAP, SNMP.
Familiar with at least one of the following Database technologies: SQL, MongoDB.
Excellent English written and verbal communication.
Proven experience debugging complex distributed systems or integrations.
Advantages:
Direct experience working with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira Service Desk APIs, or other CMDB platforms.
Significant coding experience, including design and code review, or experience with infrastructure coding.
Experience with Linux environments.
Experience with multi-process architectures and relevant operating systems System calls (Fork, exec).
Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
Experience working with customers worldwide.
Extensive experience with a variety of technologies (such as Docker, MongoDB, cloud environments).
