We are seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to join our procurement team. The Indirect Procurement Buyer will be responsible for invoices, delivery certificates, budget monitoring and suppliers management to support the organizations operational needs. The role requires excellent vendor relations, a varied understanding of the supply chain, and the ability to multitask.
The buyer will also provide guidance, advice, and support to ensure procurement processes are effective and efficient and provide the best possible value to the business.
This is a full-time position; the Buyer will Report to the Israel Indirect Procurement and Facilities manager.
Responsibilities
Analysis, negotiation, and review of contractual agreements, ensuring appropriate terms and conditions are included to protect Medison's interests.
In charge of the procurement process, including sourcing, bidding, and contract management, for facilities, building management services, constructions, repairs, furniture, office security, car leasing, mobile providers, etc.
Monitors and reviews progress of contractual agreements and coordinates renewal, as appropriate.
Review and approve invoices for payment and resolve any related issues.
Support implementation of procurement policies and standard operating/facilities procedures.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and address any delivery, quality, or service issues.
Purchase orders management for the Israel site: general purchasing.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions that align with organizational goals.
Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
Requirements: At least three (3) years of work experience as an Indirect procurement buyer.
Knowledge of office software tools (MS Word, Outlook, Google).
Experience in Priority/NetSuite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively, and manage conflict constructively.
Ability to remain agile and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of prioritizing tasks/duties as assigned.
Very high service orientation.
Detail-oriented and accurate.
Great communication skills in Hebrew and English.
