Required a Resource Development and Compliance Manager.
Purpose: Assisting the organization to maintain, expand and diversify sources of funding and create strategies for greater financial sustainability.
a full-time (including occasional evenings and weekends) development professional to lead the organizations fundraising efforts, including donor identification and cultivation, donor relationship management and compliance, and special events and site visits.
The position includes managing the organizations relationship with the U.S.
Agency for International Development (USAID) and related award compliance.
The Resource Development and Compliance Manager will report directly to the Managing Director, and will also work in cooperation with the Director of Development at PeacePlayers head office in Washington, DC. Duration: The position starts October 1, 2016, for a duration eight months at minimum.
Includes the potential for permanent employment.
Location: The Resource Development and Compliance Manager will be based at the organizations offices in Jaffa, with occasional travel to program locations around the country.
Responsibilities The Resource Development and Compliance Manager will perform some or all of the following duties: Creating and implementing strategies to expand and diversify sources of funding for the organization Managing relationships with a diverse range of donors and funding bodies and cultivating new prospects Grant writing and reporting for a variety of donors: government, private foundations, individuals Coordinating VIP group visits, hosting visiting donors and board members Organizing and tracking donor information USAID project. compliance: including required reporting, USAID database entries, managing vetting procedures, etc. Creating marketing materials and managing social media Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent English writing and communication skills Demonstrated enthusiasm about the mission of the organization: using sports to bridge divides between Palestinians and Israelis.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines English mother tongue level A must.
Hebrew at a high level preferred, Arabic an advantage.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team Prior. knowledge of USAID reporting systems, including GeoMIS and the PVS Portal - preferred.
Prior development experience, including grant writing.
at least two years Prior USAID compliance experience preferred.
