We're seeking a highly talented, experienced, and passionate R&D Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Partnership: Support and advise the VP of R&D, facilitating strategic planning, decision-making, and execution of departmental objectives.
Process Management: Oversee non-production processes including short-term and long-term planning, quarterly planning, and sprint methodologies.
Methodology Implementation: Implement and manage work methodologies tailored to our culture and operational needs.
Tools Management: Administer Jira and other essential tools for engineering operations, enhancing functionalities and leveraging data for strategic decisions.
Project Leadership: Lead project management within the R&D department, ensuring effective execution of cross-team projects using appropriate tools and communication strategies.
Efficiency Optimization: Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team by streamlining processes and workflows.
Knowledge Management and Onboarding: Foster knowledge management and support onboarding of new employees, ensuring alignment with company culture, tools, and methodologies.
Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as a liaison between R&D and other departments, particularly product management, to ensure project and strategic alignment.
Developer Experience Enhancement: Spearhead initiatives to improve the developer experience, removing obstacles and streamlining processes to enable a focus on coding and product development.
Continuous Learning Promotion: Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the engineering teams, guiding best practices for retrospectives and self-assessment.
Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years in R&D operations, project management, or a similar role within a technology or SaaS company.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in managing R&D tools and platforms, with a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Strategic Vision: Ability to align R&D operational activities with broader business goals, understanding the SaaS business model and customer lifecycle.
Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategic plans.
Collaboration and Leadership: Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and project leadership, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
