We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Cluster team.

What youll do:
Develop the next generation of our Cluster products and solutions.
Own and lead our Cluster features end-to-end, from design through development and deployment.
Debug, maintain, and improve the Cluster infrastructure, enhancing its ability to handle many thousands of databases with millions of requests per second.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members.
Participate in various open source projects that we maintains and/or contributes to.
Work closely with team members, Product, DevOps, Support, Customer Success, and other R&D teams.
Requirements:
4 or more years of hands-on backend development experience working on a large-scale production-grade system (preferably in PythonGo)
Excellent coding skills with a good understanding of large-scale architecture and design patterns
Experience with cloud computing and operating systems (specifically Linux)
A B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering/equivalent experience
Self-directed, ambitious, and eager to learn new things. Passionate about technology (always learning about new tech)
Extra great if you have:
Experience designing and implementing distributed systemsa BIG advantage
Experience with NoSQL databases
Experience with Python
Experience with at least one of the big cloud platforms
Have participated in an end-to-end big data and/or large scale performance challenge

We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Backend Software Engineer for our Data Detection & Response product to join us and be a part of the companys early stage core team.

The Detection team is composed of talented Backend Engineers and is responsible for building our real-time threat detection product, analyzing events at hyper-high scale and looking for malicious activity that can harm users. You will be working with other R&D teams, researchers, product managers, and designers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing and implementing core components within the detection architecture, including microservices, ETLs, and core libraries
Planning and implementing the rollout, testing and monitoring of features deployed to production end to end
Conducting design and code reviews with the other team members
Analytical approach for scale, optimizations and data-driven decisions
Drive and passion for pushing cross R&D-product workflows and initiatives
Requirements:
4+ years experience in software development with Python, Typescript, or Javascript
In-depth understanding of modern SaaS application architecture and best practices
Proficient experience with relational database management systems
Demonstrated capability in working within a microservices architecture and cloud-native environments, preferably with AWS
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required
Self-motivated with a passionate approach to work
Familiarity with frameworks such as Nest.JS and FastAPI - an advantage
Knowledge in the Cyber Security or Data Security domain - an advantage
Experience with detection and response platforms, like XDR or EDR - an advantage
