As an Electrical Validation lab tech., you will be responsible for performing system tests to validate Solid State Drives (SSD) electrical characteristics for client computing systems.
Our Validation Engineering team has critical responsibilities in systems test, compatibility testing, and customer system testing.
The Validation Engineering team is responsible for proving that the product meets or exceed functional and performance metrics as well as proving that the product is of high quality and will be reliable across its life span.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Perform all system tests to validate device electrical characteristics
Perform first level failure analysis on the host/link level to understand and articulate failure mode
Document, monitor and follow all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization
Technical hands-on contributions
Create test scripts to automate the product maturity validation of storage products (SSD)
Analyzing collected test data and provide feedback to validation engineers
Work in cooperation with HW/FW engineering functions to aid in debugging and provide feedback

Drive storage products technical requirements (perf., power, latency, workloads, features etc.) for the complex and continuously evolving Mobile, Automotive and VR/AR industries
Research of new usage cases, platforms, features and benchmarks including end to end system analysis (app layer, OS, FS, drivers, chipset and storage device internals)
Work closely with engineering teams and architects to define and evaluate new features benefit, concept, architecture and design
Competitive analysis on platform level to map product gaps, strength and identify new requirements and opportunities driven out of it
Generate marketing collateral for products Go To Market / engagements activities including presentations, guides and training material
Supports/drive research lab hands on activities such as platforms bring up, tests/scripts automation etc.

Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Designing test plans and automating the test cases, including validating functionality, performance, and reliability.
Design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks tailored to our needs. This includes selecting appropriate tools and technologies for automation, deploying and maintaining them and writing software to tie it all together and implement relevant functionality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and architects, to ensure alignment on quality metrics, testing objectives, priorities, and coverage.
