We are seeking an highly skilled Sensory Consumer Insights Specialist to join our team.
The specialist will report to our sensory dept manager.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and running experiments, assisting in the preparation of experiment protocols, creating internal and external presentations, and cultivating consumer and sensory product knowledge.
This role requires a blend of scientific expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of consumer behavior.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Collaborating with the Sensory dept manager to accomplish the sensory group missions.
* Coordinate and execute sensory experiments to gather consumer insights, ensuring the smooth running of sensory panels and the collection of actionable data.
* Assist in the development and refinement of experiment protocols.
* Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of consumer preferences, behaviors, and trends.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Communicate research findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
* Analyze and interpret data from sensory evaluations to derive actionable insights, utilizing statistical analysis software and strong analytical skills.
* Assist in preparing internal and external presentations.

* Support sensory team goals and activities, as needed, Including preparation of sensory panels, sourcing candidates, etc.
Requirements: * At least a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Life science or related field.
* Masters degree is preferred.
* Experience planning and running sensory panels- a major advantage.
* Knowledge in defining sensory testing approach, protocols and parameters to guide existing and new product development.
* Proficiency in creating actionable insights from experiments, data and literature research.
* Experience in experimental design and statistical analysis.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, start-up environment.
* Passion for understanding consumer behavior and driving product innovation.
