We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our ERM team in Israel.

This is an amazing opportunity to work on a cloud-based (SaaS) next-generation of library automation (Alma) using cutting-edge technologies.

The team consists of 5 members and is reporting to the Team Leader. We have a great skill set in delivering large, successful end-to-end projects and we would love to speak with you if you have strong Front End & Back End skills.

What will you be doing in this role?

Design and develop E2E workflows.

Handle critical production system concepts high availability, reliability, and scalability.

Solve problems, design, and create a more seamless experience for users.

Ability to design, implement, and execute automated tests.

Responsibility for the full development cycle from the Technical Design Specification to the Unit Tests.

Working closely and integrating with other team members and with other teams.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Linux System Expert, Storage And Backup Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring storage and Linux servers and services. Your expertise in Red Hat, EMC, and Commvault will ensure that our server environments conform to all company regulations and information security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, and maintain Linux and storage servers and services.
2. Manage EMC storage in a highly crucial environment, employing proactive and reactive approaches.
3. Perform installations, security updates, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting in VMware-based 24x7 data center environments.
4. Ensure ongoing operating and system compliance with security protocols and regulatory standards.
5. Provide support to application, security, and other teams within the organization.

Our Data Engineers are responsible for building and operating the data systems to deliver value to the end users and to internal users, by expanding and optimizing the data pipelines and data services, ensuring data integrity and driving a data-driven culture. In addition, you will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. This is an amazing opportunity to get into on the ground floor and have a direct hand in designing our companys data architecture to support our first generation of products and data initiatives.

Our ideal candidate is experienced with data pipeline builders and data wranglers, and someone who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. Must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products and comfortable working in a fast-paced and often pivoting environment.

Responsibilities
* Build and maintain our data repositories with timely and quality data
* Build and maintain data pipelines from internal databases and SaaS applications
* Create and maintain architecture and systems documentation
* Write maintainable, performant code
* Implement the DevOps, DataOps and FinOps philosophy in everything you do
* Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to drive efficiencies for their work
* Collaborate with other functions to ensure data needs are addressed
