The global market leader in wireless communication systems for Powersports & Outdoor helmets, is looking for a Mobile Application and backend Development Manager to join our R&D department, reporting to the VP R&D.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Application and backend Development Manager to work closely with our 15-person mobile development team based in Ukraine.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications across both IOS and Android platforms, along with a strong understanding of backend technologies and architecture. He/She will be responsible for managing the entire mobile development lifecycle, fostering collaboration within the distributed team, and ensuring that our mobile applications meet the highest standards of performance and User Experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire our Ukraine-based team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and direction on mobile application development, backend architecture, and best practices to both individual contributors and tech leads. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mobile projects across time zones, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, often remotely, to define project requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions. Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile and backend technologies, tools, and trends, and recommend adoption of new technologies that can enhance our products and processes. Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance, stability, and security of our mobile applications and backend systems, and implement optimizations to improve User Experience and efficiency. Recruitment and Training: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to existing team members, leveraging virtual tools and resources.

We utilize the latest Artificial Intelligence and Electro Optics technologies and develop lifesaving, vision systems for the global railway market. We are looking for an experienced and sharp Algorithm Manager with management experience and a solid understanding in Deep Learning and Computer Vision in order to effectively lead a team of researchers who develop the core networks and algorithms for collision avoidance, utilizing multiple cameras at multiple wavelengths and zoom, multiple corresponding inertial and location hardware. What will you do?
* Leading a team of researchers and communicate with other research teams.
* Developing the next generation algorithms including different CNN architectures, CV algorithms and algorithms that utilize Physics in complex environment.
