A Day in the Life
As a Senior Software DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining CI/CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery) pipelines for endoscopy software solutions.
Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to manage and provision the technology stack for the application.
Managing and optimizing applications on AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
Deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes.
Ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure by implementing industry-standard security practices and maintaining compliance with security policies.
Collaborating with the software development team to streamline software delivery.
Monitoring metrics and developing ways to improve system health and performance.
Ensuring all systems are up to date with the latest DevOps industry trends and technologies.
In this role, you will be working with our PillCam Cloud Reader Software, a cutting-edge technology that provides a secure platform for uploading PillCam SB 3 capsule studies to a cloud-based environment for remote reading, treatment recommendations, and report creation.
Requirements: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for a minimum 3-5 years.
Knowledge of coding and scripting in languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell or Bash.
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
Understanding of security best practices in DevOps.
Understanding of network architecture and application protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
Nice to Haves
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or other DevOps tools.
Experience in the healthcare or medical technology industry.
