The Polis Institute, the Jerusalem Institute of Languages and Humanities, is seeking to hire a motivated and organized professional to join our team as a maternity leave replacement for the position of Registrar.
The Registrar plays a central role in the administration of the academic and students affairs, ensuring efficient management of registration process, student visa applications, course scheduling, and coordination between students, faculty, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries from prospective and current students regarding the institutes academic programs.
Receive and process applications for academic programs.
Review application materials and submit completed applications to the relevant academic committee for assessment and approval.
Register the enrolled program students in the academic registration system.
Requirements: Prepare and coordinate student visa applications and related documents
Maintain students grades and academic records in the system
Prepare official documents, transcripts, and certificates
Manage course scheduling for each semester
Maintain academic records, databases, and student files
Generate reports from the registration system
Provide administrative support to students and staff members
Qualifications Requirements
BA in business administration, or relevant field
Administrative experience, preferably in academic institute
Organizational and multitasking skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability and openness to work in a multi-cultural and multi-linguistic environment
High level of accuracy and attention to details
Professional proficiency in English and good command of Hebrew
Microsoft Office and digital management systems
