The VP Strategy Programs & Execution will serve as the owner of the companys cross-functional initiative program, ensuring that innovation, core, and infrastructure programs are aligned, prioritized, and delivered into actual use. This is not a traditional product role focused on markets or end-customers, but rather an internal product/program leadership position driving alignment, focus and execution across Research, Engineering and IT.
Key Responsibilities
Projects Portfolio Management Map, monitor, and prioritize all company initiatives (Core, Scale-Up, Explore, Infra).
Strategic Prioritization Define clear criteria (ROI, impact, cost of delay, feasibility) and lead executive-level decisions on prioritization.
Execution & Continuity Limit the number of open initiatives, secure continuous ownership until delivery and adoption.
Initiative Maturation Drive projects from exploration stage to scale-up, ensuring readiness and sustainability.
Cross-Department Alignment and collaboration Reduce bottlenecks, lead quarterly planning, enhance collaboration between departments.
Transparency & Reporting Provide regular updates to leadership on initiative status & progress.
Requirements: Solid understanding of engineering and infrastructure domains, enabling informed prioritization decisions.
Proven experience in Product Leadership, COO, or strategic operations roles in companies of 200+ employees, with cross-organizational scope.
Strong track record in portfolio management, prioritization frameworks, and execution discipline.
Experience in Agile at scale, OKRs, and portfolio governance models.
Ability to bridge diverse teams (researchers, engineers, IT, executives) and foster alignment and trust.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of reducing silos, facilitating decision-making, and inspiring teams.
