We are looking for a Payroll Accountant with experience in Israeli payroll regulations and systems to manage payroll for 300-500 employees.
This role will also provide support to the bookkeeping team .
Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Accurately process payroll for 300-500 employees in accordance with Israeli labor laws and regulations.
Ensure all payroll taxes and deductions are calculated and reported correctly.
Manage employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Reports & Reconciliation:
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in preparing reports related to employee costs, headcount, and variances.
Bookkeeping Assistance:
Support the bookkeeping team in maintaining accurate financial records.
Post payroll-related entries to the general ledger and assist with month-end closing activities.
Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving accounting discrepancies.
Provide additional support as needed.
Requirements: Experience:
Minimum 4+ years of payroll experience, preferably managing payroll for 300-500 employees.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with Israeli salary systems and payroll software.
Strong Excel skills for payroll data analysis and report generation.
Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of Israeli payroll laws, taxes, benefits, and labor regulations.
Soft Skills:
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
