We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Global Procurement Director to lead and manage the global procurement function of our organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies, optimizing cost efficiencies, ensuring supplier performance, and supporting the company's overall business objectives.
This position will work closely with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external suppliers to drive value creation through strategic sourcing, risk management, and sustainable procurement practices.
Work environment: Hybrid (3 days at the office), occasional business trips abroad
Requirements: 1. Education & Experience:
o Proven experience of at least 10 years as Head of procurement, in a global matrix organization and environment.
o Experience managing large-scale, complex procurement activities across multiple geographies.
o Bachelors/MA/MBA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
o Advantage relevant experience in the AG or plastics industry or equivalent.

o Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership on company-wide initiatives.

o Willingness to travel internationally as required.
4. Skills & Competencies:
o Strong understanding of procurement strategies, global supply chains, and supplier management.
o Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate a diverse, high-performing team.
o Expertise in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
o Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze costs, budgets, and profitability.
5. Certifications (preferred but not required):
o CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), or similar certifications are a plus.
