As a Sales Engineer, you will lead the technical discussion with potential customers and work closely with channel partners in your region. You will provide professional guidance to solve complex security problems and be responsible for winning the technical sale.
Being a Sales Engineer means working in a highly motivated global team of experts who work closely with the Regional Sales Managers and Product Managers. The Sales Engineering team has direct access to the R&D team and continuously aims to improve internal knowledge sharing and introduce new processes to assist to the growth of the company. The team ultimately has a direct impact on Silverforts product development and the companys success.
Responsibilities:
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, both in-person and remote.
Be an evangelist of innovative technology, speak at webinars, tradeshows and events.
Answer functional and technical questions around Silverforts technology, including those in the relevant sections of RFI/RFP tenders.
Conduct successful Proof-of-Concepts and lead the pre-sales process to winning the technical sale.
Train the channel partners which consist of regional distributors and value-added resellers and act as a first point of contact in the channels technical enablement and presales stages.
Translate feature requests to Product Management team.
Document new customer environments into Silverforts CRM and documentation system to assist the Professional Services, the Customer Success and the Technical Support teams.
Gain knowledge of Silverforts alliance partners technologies to be able to express the benefits of integrating platform with other technologies.
Requirements:
Solid experience in sales engineering, preferably multiple years of working in the information security software industry. Experience from a startup company, an advantage.
Very strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, and willing to speak in front of large audiences (e.g. leading a workshop, trainings, giving a webinar or speaking at a tradeshow keynote).
Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of another European language, an advantage.
Can work independently and provide clear reporting into the regional management.
Profound understanding of modern Information Security concepts and Digital Transformation technologies.
Hands-on experience in administrating Windows and Linux environments.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles and deep knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure Active Directory, including their common authentication protocols (e.g. Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, RADIUS, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.). Knowledge of other identity provider technologies, an advantage.
Knowledge of working with Salesforce.com, an advantage.
Knowledge of a scripting language, an advantage.
CISSP certification, an advantage.
Work from the Tel Aviv office with willingness to travel in EMEA around 25% of the time.
