Graphic Designer (Temp) – 2020 OurCrowd Global Investor Summit The OurCrowd Global Investor Summit is the largest investor event in Israel and the biggest equity crowdfunding event in the world, providing an unparalleled forum for members of the tech startup ecosystem to meet, interact, learn, and grow. It takes place over a 3-day period from February 11-13 2020, in and around Jerusalem.
Responsibilities:
The designer’s focus will be working on branded Summit material, both web and print. The designer will sit within and work alongside the OurCrowd Summit-event team & OurCrowd design team. The designer will also be expected to maintain a working relationship with dedicated freelance designers serving a supporting role. This is a fast-paced work environment,and requires working on multiple projects at once under tight deadlines, especially in the two months leading up to February 2020. The position is full time starting November for 10 months with option to extend .The position sits in Jerusalem and reports to the Summit project manager while collaborating and working alongside the marketing department. Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication or Graphic Design
* 2+ years of design experience
* Not afraid to learn new systems to advance in skill
* Works with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign , and could also make some magic on PowerPoint files
* Experience with designing web property, print & events materials (ie, one-pagers, brochures, posters Design, marketing and advertising materials in Social media: web banners, landing pages, e-mail marketing, presentations, etc. while maintaining the brand’s language).
* Knowledge preparing & closing print files.
* Strong attention to detail, brand and typography
* Team player who can receive and give feedback
* Multi-task several projects to meet deadlines and Ability to work under pressure
* Self-starter, self-motivated, ability to work independently.
* Strong communication skills, both in Hebrew & English.
* Knowledge with HTML/CSS – an advantage.
