The company is looking for an experienced researcher to join and help improve the shopping experience and expand its work internationally. This is a high impact work stream that focuses on international research. This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience in qualitative research methods, usability testing, and participant/project management.
Design and manage studies (usability, interviews and possibly surveys and desk research), partnering with other researchers, designers, product leads and local research agencies.
Articulate key insights through clear and comprehensive written reports, compelling visuals, frameworks, decks, and documentary style video clips
Contribute to research operations and research team tooling by helping to stand-up and own process, projects, and tools that further best practices
Requirements: Mandatory Skills/Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent practical experience.
Solid understanding of, and comfort with, experimental design.
At least 2 year industry experience conducting user research and/ or experience conducting academic research in the field (HCI).
Experience with a range of qualitative research methods and analysis techniques.
Experience with iterative testing methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications
M.A/M.S./Ph.D. (in progress or completed) in Human Factors, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Product Design, or other field
4+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience in working on Consumer shopping or related experiences
