What You Will Do?
The PMO Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring project alignment and efficiency by collecting and synthesizing data from various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. This role involves tracking project progress, identifying issues, and raising flags to keep projects on track and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis:
Gather and consolidate project data from multiple stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and clients.
Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and potential issues.
Gantt maintenance.
Synchronization and Coordination:
Ensure consistent communication between project teams and stakeholders.
Coordinate with various departments to align project goals, resources, and timelines.
Facilitate regular status meetings and updates to ensure all parties are informed.
Issue Identification and Flagging:
Monitor project performance and milestones to detect deviations from the plan.
Raise flags and escalate issues as needed to appropriate parties to address and resolve potential risks.
Reporting:
Prepare and distribute regular project status reports, including progress, risks, and action items.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
Documentation and Process Improvement:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, reports.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the PMO.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders and team members.
Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their requirements are met effectively.
Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience: 6+ years of experience as a PMO, PMO coordination, or a similar role in a multidisciplinary company.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Monday, Priority).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and assemble it into a Gantt.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
