What will you do?
Cloud Security Operations - monitor and manage the security of cloud infrastructure, ensuring best practices are followed to safeguard against threats
Cloud Network Operations - oversee the security aspects of cloud networking, including network configurations, to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations
Develop and enhance monitoring and alert capabilities - design, implement, and refine monitoring systems to detect and alert on potential security incidents, enhancing the organization's ability to respond swiftly to threats
Implement & maintain security related systems and platforms - deploy and upkeep critical security infrastructure, tools, and platforms that support the organization's cybersecurity posture.
New vendors and tools security assessments - evaluate and assess the security of new vendors and tools, ensuring they meet the organization's security standards before integration
Being part of the incident response team - participate in the incident response team, contributing to the management and mitigation of security incidents to minimize impact on the organization
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of IT and/or SecOps experience in cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Proficient in managing security aspects of Endpoints, Cloud environments, SaaS, Email, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Extensive understanding of IT and cloud infrastructure, including implementation and management.
Good knowledge of cloud networking concepts and technologies (cloud network segmentations, common protocols)
Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex security challenges
A proactive approach to identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field and/or candidates with equivalent job experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred qualifications:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC)
Experience in scripting
Extensive knowledge of network protocols and their application in securing networks (SD-WAN, BGP, GRE, etc.)
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
Experience with Dev processes such as CI/CD, K8s Security, SSDLC, Web Security
