Position Overview: The Director, Content at is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand voice, supports our marketing objectives, and drives user engagement across all channels. This role will lead our content team, oversee content strategy, production, repurposing and distribution and collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience and drives intent.
What Youll Own:
Develop and implement a content strategy that supports business goals and brand identity
Lead and mentor a team of content creators, including writers, editors, and multimedia specialists
Oversee the creation and distribution of various content types, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and social media content
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align content with campaign objectives and product messaging
Establish and maintain editorial guidelines and content calendars
Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results
Manage content budgets and resources effectively
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and digital adoption
Develop and maintain relationships with industry influencers and thought leaders
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice across all platforms
Requirements: 7+ years of experience in content creation and strategy, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry
3+ years of experience in team management and leadership roles
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Proven track record of developing successful content marketing strategies and executing high-performing campaigns
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth technology companies
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques
Proficiency in content management systems and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush)
Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software
Familiarity and hands-on experience with Gen AI tools for content analysis, iteration and creation.
Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, Marketo)
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content
