Required a Supply Chain Manager.
Define and improve sourcing strategies and processes with respect to order specifications and budget constraints.
Initiate, implement and uphold the Power Station supply chain processes and data, according to company procedures and local regulations ensuring full compliance.
Search, survey and select new vendors of equipment, services and materials.
Prepare and follow-up on request for quotations, ensuring all necessary technical, quality, transport and commercial documentation are complete.
Obtain quotes, specifications and product availability from suppliers and negotiate price and terms & conditions of the purchase orders, standard equipment or services.
Follow up with import and export companies and suppliers to allow smooth logistics .
Support the maintenance of warehouse stock as per the company procedures.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and order modifications, according to the applicable process, making sure all data is recorded properly in the ERP-System.
Follow-up on material deliveries and services, including transportation, to ensure delivery is made on time; Liaise with customs and suppliers in the preparation of necessary documentation for import/export of parts.
Negotiate pricing and payment terms on all purchase requisition volume assuring most competitive pricing is achieved without sacrificing quality.
Follow up purchasing orders and invoices to ensure payment, as per terms and conditions.
Ensure that an accurate and complete record of transactions and accounts is maintained.
Ensure all work procedures are compliant with the company's procedures and integrity policies.
Advise Functional managers regarding processes and procedures.
Review and improve processes toward continuous development of the Supply Chain function towards best practice, consistently strive to improve On Time Delivery and Quality statistics to target levels.
Ensure compliant and efficient processes are maintained while constantly driving process efficiency and simplification.
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college, preferably with a Commercial or Economical background;
Previous experience working in an industrial environment;
Significant sourcing and global supply chain experience;
Knowledge of Local Supplier Market;
Mother tongue level Hebrew;
Excellent English both written and verbal;
Experience working with an ERP-System;
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
Team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills;
Ability to lead a small team;
Ability to effectively assess and prioritize tasks, risks and resources;
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously;
Self-Starter, able to excel in fast paced business environment;
Strong customer service and results oriented mind-set;
Ability and willingness to travel within Israel as required;
Flexibility to work extended working hours/days when needed.
