Design, implement, and optimize high-performance backend systems that manage the scale and complexity of advanced hardware.
Build and integrate AI-driven features into internal macOS native applications.
Abstract intricate hardware behaviors into clean, developer-friendly interfaces and APIs.
Work closely with external SW Engineers vendors, aligning on technical requirements and integration strategies.
Collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers, designers, and end users to deliver impactful solutions.
Own the full development lifecycle - from architecture and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
Contribute across a modern tech stack: Swift, C++, and Python.

As an Embedded Software and Prototyping Engineer working on visionOS platforms, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and developing real-time software across the visionOS stack.

Responsibilities
Define, design and develop software solutions for our AR/VR technology.
Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, drive requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Understand the end customer use-cases, and design and develop software solutions tailored to those experiences.
Develop early prototyping software solutions in simulation/emulation environment.
Deliver shipping quality software solutions.
Identify and implement efficient system-level solutions across HW and SW to meet the product's performance goals within the power constraints.
Debug hard to reproduce issues and propose solutions with minimum impact to user experience.

* Design, develop, test and maintain user space embedded applications, both in low level and system level.
* Participate in design reviews, architecture definition, test planning and integrations.
* Debug and troubleshoot software issues
* Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, IoT technologies, and development tools.
* Work with adjacent teams such as software, integration, system, support and hardware.
